Casa Celsa
Founded in 1983 by Celsa González, who moved to Santiago de Compostela with the idea of giving her family a prosperous future, Hostal Barbantes has been welcoming thousands of pilgrims, students and other guests for more than 30 years. In 2016, and in honour of its founder, Celsa’s granddaughter decided to continue with the business, renaming it Casa Celsa-Barbantes. Her goal in doing so was to attend to every little detail and offer her guests the best possible service, all with the support of a first-rate team.
Casa Celsa-Barbantes can be found in Santiago de Compostela’s old town, just 100 metres from the cathedral, and offers our guests the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful part of the world, where tourists, students and locals mingle as one. The whole area is pedestrianised and is home to many other attractions, such as craft and antique stalls and live concerts.
